I'm not really into the Romance genre. You won't find a lot of Rom-Coms or Romantasy on my shelves. But I do love a good love story. Think sweeping intergeneration tales, childhood friends who meet again later in life, couples who have to face incredibly difficult decisions… those are the stories that really leave a mark.

  • The Hearts Invisible Furies by John Boyne- this is perhaps my favorite book of all time and you will likely see it again in many upcoming newsletters 

  • Homeseeking by Karissa Chen- my favorite book of 2025

  • You Are Here by David Nicholls

  • Heart the Lover by Lily King- a recent favorite

  • Intermezzo by Sally Rooney

  • Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano- might have been my favorite book of 2024

  • Talking at Night by Claire Daverley

  • The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough- a classic 

  • The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak

  • Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan- alright, fine, sometimes I like a Rom-Com
