Favorite Book Amnesia

Has this ever happened to you? You read a book, you love it, you recommend it to others, and then- poof!- months or years later you can't remember anything about it?

If you're like me, you suffer from Favorite Book Amnesia (disclaimer: this is not a real affliction, I just made it up). In reviewing my Goodreads list, I am struck by how many 5 and 4.5 ⭐️ reviews I have written of books I can't remember. More than once my review claims, “This book will stay with me for a long time!”

Apparently not.

My sincere apologies to these exceptionally talented authors! I owe your books another read because I one point I really did love them.
