8 Books to Inspire Future Voters

If you follow me, you likely know that I love putting together a good book list! Well, it's primary season, and that means I'm thinking about the voting process.

Not long ago, my 5 year daughter asked me what the word "election" meant. As I often do, I turned to some of our favorite children's books to help me explain big concepts.

In this case, I was able to say, "Do you remember when we read A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo?" She did- and we talked about how in that book the animals held an election and voted. And that voting means we get to decide who is in charge.
